Maxima Maytag Washer Door Locked

There is a pull tab at the bottom of the door latch which will manually unlock the door.

Our maytag washer is displaying e01 and f09 codes. Pull down on this tab and then open the door. Our maytag maxima steam washer has a flashing yellow light next to door locked the door won t open and the machined cannot be turned on. Is there anything that i can do to clear the codes and unlock the front load door.
