My 4 year old refrigerator ice maker constantly freezes up. The problem is the ice maker freezes up and the ice cubes do not drop. The icemaker isn t making enough ice. Water leaks out from under the front and the freezer bottom freezes up constantly.

I have located the panel in the freezer that i believe i need to remove to clear the problem. Humid room air causes moisture to build especially when the doors are frequently opened. The drip pan underneath is always empty so i suspect that the drain is clogged. If a large amount was recently removed it could take 24 hours to fully replenish.

Get all items out at one time keep food organized and close the door as soon as possible. Noticed a small ice build up coming from open vent on freezer back wall. To avoid excess moisture buildup minimize door openings. Has done this for years.

Another cause for this could be that the door hinges are loose or not attached properly leading to outside air entering your fridge freezer. Push in to the right the tab on the left side in the middle. An improper seal of the gaskets on the refrigerator or freezer doors could also cause humidity to form.
